Job Summary
A provider of technology based solutions is in need of a Remote Platform Engineer in New York.
Must be able to:
- Develop solutions using an agile development process
- Mentor and support the development team
- Carry out unit test coverage of the code base
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 3+ years of meaningful experience in product or large scale web app development
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and Microservice architecture
- Skills with the following: Java, IntelliJ, Jenkins, REST, Groovy, Elastic, MongoDB, RabbitMQ
- Experience with unit testing tools like Junit, Mockito, Spock and Full Stack development
- Familiar with architectural patterns such as APIs, distributed architecture, and 12 factor apps
- Experience mentoring technical team members
