Job Summary

A digital solutions company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Platform Infrastructure and Engineering VP.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading the weekly planning and execution of DevOps, API, Micro-Services, and Site Reliability
  • Identifying resource requirements and help drive recruitment of high-quality colleagues
  • Working with the engineering team and leadership team to build road maps and lead prioritization

Position Requirements Include:

  • Experience leading teams of Software Engineers, DevOps engineers, System Engineers, It Admins, and Site Reliability Engineers
  • Prior experience as a hands-on software engineer
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Preferred knowledge and experience with geospatial data, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Python, K8s, Javascript, CI/CD
  • AWS knowledge and experience, including system design and architecture
  • Strong System Architecture, System Engineering, and System Integration skills
