Job Summary
A genetic information company is in need of a Remote Platform Senior Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Leading the design and implementation of major software components, systems, and features
- Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving the software systems
- Managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables aligned with the roadmap
Qualifications for this position include:
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver complex and maintainable software systems and features
- Mastery of a technical stack from infrastructure to application code
- AWS, Python, Kubernetes, observability/metrics/monitoring, API design, DevOps
- Experience balancing operations, maintenance, and new projects in a pragmatic way
- Deep technical knowledge around web application architectures, APIs, and developer tools
- Industry experience working with distributed, highly available systems
