Job Summary

An IT company is in need of a Remote Platform Services Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating to design and develop highly available, reliable Node.js services
  • Engaging in data driven conversations about service objectives and goals
  • Working with other engineering teams to understand how they are using the services

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Have 4+ years of software development experience
  • Have worked in Node.js before or can demonstrate experience in other Javascript frameworks
  • Can think about performance in terms of SLOs and error budgets
  • Never keep the default monitoring dashboards
  • Proactively solicit feedback from colleagues and iterate over solutions
