Job Summary

A mobile shopping platform is seeking a Remote Platform Software Engineer in Santa Monica.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Contributing to various microservices and databases by building out new features and improving existing ones
  • Contributing to designing data models and supporting efficient queries/writes
  • Designing and implementing HTTP, gRPC, and real-time APIs

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 2 years experience working either as backend developer working on HTTP APIs, gRPC, or Realtime APIs
  • Familiarity with Node, Golang, Python, or JavaExperience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • 2 years of Experience working with Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
