Job Summary
A computer hardware and services company has a current position open for a Remote Policy and Standards Senior Advisor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Maintaining accurate security summaries of IT and Security practices
- Assessing internal processes and make recommendations to streamline procedures to reduce risk
- Gathering information, designing, and writing Policy & Standard documentation
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 3+ years’ experience with Technical Writing within Information Security, Policy and Standards
- NIST 800-53, NIST Cyber, ISO 27001, ISO 27002, EU GDPR, PCI and Cyber Essentials framework
- Familiarity with ISMS
- 3+ years of Corporate Security Policies, Standards and Procedure experience
- Expert use of Microsoft Office (Work, PPT, Excel and Outlook)
- Knowledge and understanding of writing, editing, coordinating, and publishing sensitive documentation
