Job Summary
A non-profit organization is in need of a Remote Policy and Strategy Support Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Utilizing knowledge and expertise to develop further research on local, state, and federal education policy structures
- Providing both in-depth analysis and a macro view of the U.S. policy landscape
- Developing new, creative, engaging digital communications and deliverables
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of education policy at local, state and federal levels
- Excellent writing and editing skills in the policy landscape (i.e., policy memos)
- Customer-service orientation that will act as an on-call expert to support our staff and members as they seek to take action in their regions
- Expertise in research and analysis, with the ability to provide both in-depth analysis and a macro view of the U.S. policy landscape
- Five years of relevant, professional work experience with three years of experience working in education policy, advocacy, and/or organizing
