Job Summary

An online university needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Political Science Course Instructor.

Must be able to:

• Provide coaching, support, and subject matter expertise to students enrolled in General Education-Political Science
• Communicate and share a passion for Political Science to motivate a diverse and large group of students
• Respond to student inquiries about content, learning resources, or assessment in a timely manner

Qualifications Include:

• Works primarily from home in the Continental U.S., but is available to travel to meetings as required
• Doctorate in Political Science required; other qualifications and/or licensure may be required for some degree programs
• Subject matter expertise in Political Science is mandatory
• Teaching experience in a higher-education setting, ideally with adult learners
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
