A web publication company has a current position open for a Remote Politics Editor.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assign and edit company's daily politics coverage
- Plan and execute ambitious editorial projects and packages
- Assign and edit features and profiles
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience editing both reporting and analysis we do both
- A sharp, interesting mind and pen
- Excellent management, organizational, and communication skills
- Tons of ideas
- A track record of mentoring and eliciting great work from young talent
- At least 7 years' experience working as an editor online, ideally with part of that time focused on U.S. politics
