Job Summary
A tobacco company has a current position open for a Remote Population Science Research Scientist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Accessing, mining and analyzing large internal and external datasets using statistical techniques
- Building predictive models, machine learning and data mining algorithms to identify tobacco use trends
- Using tools and techniques to visualize and monitor data in easy-to-understand formats
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant educational and/or work experience
- Experience with any of the following statistical software packages: SAS, R, Python or MATLAB
