A financial services provider is filling a position for a Remote Portfolio and Jumbo Mortgage Loan Underwriter.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Reviewing and analyzing the mortgage loan application to ensure eligibility
• Evaluating credit package and collateral for residential mortgage loans
• Completing thorough analyses of loan files

Required Skills:

• Jumbo signing authority ($1M+) and experience (4 years)
• Extensive non agency/non conforming/portfolio underwriting experience
• Experience with manual underwriting
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient knowledge of underwriting terminology.
• Ability to maintain a knowledge of lending guideline
