Job Summary
A multi-faceted financial agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Portfolio Management Assistant .
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Working with portfolio management to establish and implement investment strategy across client portfolios
- Analyzing portfolio performance, analytics, and attribution by utilizing tools such as Bloomberg, Aladdin, and quantitative techniques
- Responding to basic inquires and requests for information about investment strategies from marketing, RFP, product management, distribution, consultants and clients
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor's degree in business or technical field
- Excellent abilities in the areas of communication (verbal and written)
- Problem solving, time management, analytics and use of Excel required
- Previous internship in fixed income or related technical field
- Knowledge of financial markets and fixed income strategies, including general knowledge of bond mechanics and pricing calculations
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and economic theory, interpret financial statements, and efficiently and effectively research, compile and analyze information
