We are seeking a full time public relations and link building outreach specialist to work closely with the managing director and secure press coverage and backlinks in major business publications and blogs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic planning and development of PR, guest posting and link building campaigns, including media planning and press release creation/distribution.
Drafting and editing written content (i.e. press releases, op-eds, reactive comments, blog posts and status updates).
Gain coverage, mentions, backlinks on major publications, blogs and any other relevant platforms through outreach of content campaigns.
Influencer identification and outreach. Draft and coordinate regular newsletters to candidates and clients
Driving strategy to acquire backlinks that positively impact organic rankings. Using advanced search techniques in Google to identify potential link opportunities
Qualifying websites for quality link potential. Reaching out to bloggers and other online personalities via email, twitter, blog comments, Facebook and on the phone
DESIRED PROFILE & COMPETENCIES
Effective communication skills including solid understanding of English grammar and professional writing ability.
Innovative, inquisitive and effective problem solver. Proficient in conducting research online. Strong analytical skills and ability to understand, report and act on data
Understanding of how to research, identify and pursue link building opportunities and execute successful programs,
A bachelor's/master's degree in mass communication, marketing, journalism, advertising or related field is preferred.
