Job Summary

A university needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Precertification and Financial Clearance Supervisor in Ann Arbor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Planning, organizing and supervising the daily operational activities of the unit
• Scheduling daily work and monitor the quality and quantity of work
• Assisting with planning and developing departmental procedures, policies and standardized workflows

Qualifications Include:

• Occasions where the staff member will need to report to the business office location
• Associate’s in Health Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business or other healthcare related field
• 3-5 years of business office experience within a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of health insurance, third party payers, government regulations and ICD-10 and CPT coding
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, problem solving, decision making and negotiation skills
• Excellent computer application skills
