Job Summary
A telecommunications services provider has an open position for a Remote Premier Managed Services Repair Technician.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Being the first line of support for all inbound calls
- Initiating, updating, tracking, and closing trouble tickets
- Providing clear and concise documentation on troubleshooting steps
Skills and Requirements Include:
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years telecommunications (switch operations, Internet Operations, NOC) experience
- 2-3 years customer service experience desired
- Demonstrate knowledge of T1/T3 loop troubleshooting and transport theory
- Knowledge of DSL, EOC, DS1, DS3 and OCX loop troubleshooting and transport theory
- Understanding of the ILEC to CLEC relationship
