Job Summary

A telecommunications services provider has an open position for a Remote Premier Managed Services Repair Technician.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Being the first line of support for all inbound calls
  • Initiating, updating, tracking, and closing trouble tickets
  • Providing clear and concise documentation on troubleshooting steps

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years telecommunications (switch operations, Internet Operations, NOC) experience
  • 2-3 years customer service experience desired
  • Demonstrate knowledge of T1/T3 loop troubleshooting and transport theory
  • Knowledge of DSL, EOC, DS1, DS3 and OCX loop troubleshooting and transport theory
  • Understanding of the ILEC to CLEC relationship
