Job Summary

A non-profit environmental conservation agency is seeking a Remote Preserve Accessibility Coordinator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • • Coordinates a community of practice to increase staff engagement across the region in actions to improve accessibility.
  • • Maintains an information hub for resources and planning tools for improving conservation land accessibility.
  • • Provides training to improve the ability of staff to assess and address accessibility issues on conservation lands.

Position Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. (eg: Recreation Management, Policy, Architecture, Natural Resource Management)
  • 5 years of professional experience as an ADA Coordinator, Disability Rights Coordinator, or similar related experience
  • Knowledge of Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act
  • Experience assessing accessibility features of facilities and/or recreational lands
  • Experience managing complex projects
  • Experience developing strategic initiatives
