Job Summary

A data software company is filling a position for a Remote Principal C++ Core Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Build robust, fault-tolerant distributed systems in a multi-threaded/multi-process environment
  • Analyze to improve the scalability and fault tolerance of data collection, routing, storage and retrieval
  • Contribute to the high-velocity data components, including the streaming data pipeline, storage engine, and operating system-based collector technology

Position Requirements Include:

  • A degree in Computer Science or related engineering subject area
  • 12+ years of professional software engineering and architecture experience including distributed system design
  • Masterful at developing, debugging and testing in any object-oriented language like C++ or Java
  • Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Kinesis, and Aurora
  • Crafting, building, and delivering software as a service
