Job Summary
A software development company is seeking a Remote Principal Canvas Software Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Report directly to our Senior Director of Engineering, Canvas
- Help teams choose the right tools, frameworks, or techniques for their projects
- Collaborate with engineering leadership as a key author of our technical strategy
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Experience building software using React or another modern frontend framework and Node.js
- Deep experience in technical leadership as a lead engineer for multiple teams
- Experience working in a software engineering organization
- Experience mentoring Senior and Staff level engineers
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, design patterns, and practices
- An advocate for quality and participate in setting standards for the organization
