Job Summary

A software development company is seeking a Remote Principal Canvas Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

Report directly to our Senior Director of Engineering, Canvas
Help teams choose the right tools, frameworks, or techniques for their projects
Collaborate with engineering leadership as a key author of our technical strategy

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

Experience building software using React or another modern frontend framework and Node.js
Deep experience in technical leadership as a lead engineer for multiple teams
Experience working in a software engineering organization
Experience mentoring Senior and Staff level engineers
Deep understanding of distributed systems, design patterns, and practices
An advocate for quality and participate in setting standards for the organization
