Job Summary
A holding company for several property and casualty insurance companies is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Principal CC Application Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Interpret technical design and requirement specifications and develops code to deliver application functionality, including new products and enhancements to existing applications and products
- Perform thorough unit testing to verify the accuracy, security and quality of all software developed
- Identify risks and mitigations and provides options and recommendations
Qualifications for this position include:
- 10+ years’ experience in JAVA development
- Experience designing and developing integration solutions using Integration solutions such as IBM integration Bus (IIB) or IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise)
- Exposure with other IBM related solutions, such as: App Connect, IBM WebSphere Service Registry and Repository, IBM DataPower, DB2 API management skills
- Ability to source code management and code promotion through multiple environments (i.e. Dev, Integration, Test, Prod)
- Ability to support defect lifecycle by triaging and correcting defects identified during quality assurance and business partner validation
- Ability to support planning and implementation of software releases into the production environment
