Job Summary

A multinational mass media and entertainment corporation is seeking a Remote Principal CDN Video Software Engineer in New York City.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Mentoring a team of talented video engineers as they implement features
  • Contributing to the evolution of our existing CDN management API, traffic steering platform
  • Fostering and contributing an engineering culture that values software quality and maintainability

Qualifications Include:

  • 7+ years of experience designing and implementing software solutions from the ground up
  • Experience in CDN switching technologies
  • Fluency in Python, Go, Rust, JavaScript or similar programming languages
  • Experience designing and deploying user-friendly, scalable APIs
  • Strong working knowledge of internet protocols and delivery methodologies
  • Familiarity with common codecs, containers, and standards for video/audio
