Remote Principal Character Artist

Job Summary

A niche staffing firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Principal Character Artist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Providing leadership and thoughtful direction and help set the tone for character creation
• Participating in technical and aesthetic problem-solving discussions for the entire project
• Working closely with Creative Director, Art Director to ensure the visual target is always exceeded and stylistically consistent

Qualifications Include:

• Proficiency with the leading tools used for character creation
• Knowledge of human and animal anatomy, materials and garb
• Excellent high and low poly modelling skills
• Solid grasp of colour theory and lighting techniques for quality presentation and the best player experience
• Ability to rapidly master proprietary tools and development pipelines
