Job Summary

A multinational technology firm is filling a position for a Remote Principal Cloud DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Working directly with key stakeholders to ensure that backlog priorities are in alignment with corporate strategies
  • Designing, implementing, and extending both internal and customer-facing software
  • Ensuring infrastructure code quality through bug fixes, troubleshooting, refactoring, and test automation

Position Requirements Include:

  • Experience with Linux system administration and Bash scripting; Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) qualifications are a plus
  • Experience with source control like Git, Apache Subversion (SVN), or similar
  • Experience with Linux container technologies like Docker
  • Experience with public or private cloud technology like Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with concepts of continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment, and infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Application development experience with PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, or Node.js
