Job Summary

An insurance company is in need of a Remote Principal Cybersecurity Specialist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Serving as a trusted advisor partnering with specialists, peers, and technology teams
• Contributing to the creation of the compliance control framework and library
• Determining significant risk points through application and threat model review

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in a technical or business discipline or related experience
• 8+ years professional experience
• Current CISSP, CRISC, CISA, GIAC or equivalent certification preferred
• Familiarity with secure coding best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and align business drivers in relation to cyber risks
• Strong understanding of mitigating security controls and how they impact the risk model
