Job Summary

A payments technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Principal Data Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing SME analysis, modification, and development of complex code / unit testing
  • Participating in client facing meetings, joint venture discussions, vendor partnership teams
  • Performing on-the-job training and provides SME guidance to software engineers

Qualifications Include:

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / Management Information Systems
  • 8+ years professional experience coding, designing, developing
  • Experience with both relational and NoSQL Databases
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts - Python
  • Experience in a scaled agile sprint environment with formal DevOps deployment
  • Back-end technologies such as Java, Python, .NET with emphasis on APIs and data access frameworks
