Job Summary
An information technology company is filling a position for a Remote Principal Data Platform Architect.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Driving strategy for taking an initial set of applications a
- Writing scalable, robust, and fully-tested software
- Designing and implementing innovative highly available distributed platforms
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 10-12+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting distributed systems
- 7+ years industry experience designing and building reliable and scalable data systems/streaming architectures
- Experience with developing and managing distributed systems in the cloud using open-source technologies
- Experience with AWS, Azure or other cloud platforms
- Experience with devops oriented deployment and development processes and technologies
- Knowledge of common design patterns, models and architecture used in Big Data processing
