Job Summary

An online retail company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Principal Data Platforms Architect.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Serving as a lead architect for strategic data initiatives
  • Delivering innovative, impactful, scalable and robust platforms
  • Identifying opportunities to adopt methodologies that improve our agility

Qualifications Include:

  • Experience with building large scale Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence platforms
  • Hands-on experience with developing and managing distributed systems in the cloud
  • Knowledge of common design patterns, models and architecture used in Big Data processing
  • Experience with AWS, Azure or other cloud platforms
  • Experience in developing distributed systems leveraging OO and functional programming languages
  • Bachelors with 10+ years of experience in Computer Science or a related field
