Job Summary

A health insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Principal Data Scientist.

Must be able to:

  • Solve new business problems using quantitative, business and healthcare principles
  • Conduct exploration and in-depth evaluation of source system data
  • Design data experiments using scientific and quantitative principles

Position Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degee in Statistics, Computer Science, Programming, Data Science or similar field
  • 8 years of experience in quantitative analytics, programming, and/or data engineering or data science
  • Experience with programming or scripting (preferably R or Python) in a cloud environment
  • Experience with data model building and validation and scaling solutions
  • Experience with open-source environments
  • Experience leading team of statisticians and data scientists
