Job Summary
A wellness company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Principal Data Scientist in Redmond.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Designing, prototyping and implementing new machine learning system architectures and predictive models
- Contributing as technical lead on the data science team to mentor fellow or junior data scientists
- Using statistical methods and machine learning techniques to create scalable prediction systems
Qualifications for this position include:
- 6+ years working as a Data Scientist, Applied Researcher, or Machine Learning Scientist
- 5+ years of professional experience with a scripting language with fluency in Python and SQL
- Experience working with large scale data platforms
- Knowledgeable in two or more of the following: machine learning, information retrieval, statistical inference and time-series analysis
- Ability to draw conclusions from data and provide recommendations
- Bachelors or equivalent
