A healthcare technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Principal Data Scientist in the San Francisco Area.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Building a solid data foundation for all of the company's product
- Leading the team to create a high quality data platform, BI/analytics/testing tools, machine learning framework
- Collaboratively developing the Data & Analytics strategy, capabilities and agenda with key stakeholders
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Domain knowledge including Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, AI/ML, analytics, data science tools and languages
- 5+ years of proven domain knowledge of Big Data and Data Science ecosystems
- Masters or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (Economics, Computer Science, Physics)
- Working knowledge of predictive modeling, machine learning, and experimentation/causal inference methods
- Statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab) 4+ years
- Experience with data querying and manipulation using SQL, Python, or R
