Job Summary
A retail technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Principal DevOps Software Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Ensure DevOps best practices are leveraged as company rolls out new features
- Promote, document, and implement infrastructure and deployment best practices
- Own the design of Cloud Native infrastructure running on cloud
Qualifications for this position include:
- 7-8 years of working in cloud based infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, Azure
- 2-3 years of experience acting in a Technical Lead position
- 2-3 years of hands on experience with Container Orchestration, performance, and tuning with Docker and Kubernetes
- Expert in designing and applying security and compliance best practices
- Expert ability to write scripts in an administrative language
