Job Summary

A telecommunications company is seeking a Remote Principal Embedded Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Authoring and contributing in software design, development, validation and documentation
  • Contributing to integration with enabling technologies
  • Trouble shooting and fixing reported issues with routing protocol and services

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related discipline
  • Expert, deployment-tested knowledge of Control Plane Routing protocols
  • Product design and delivery experience with Routers and/or MPLS switches designed for Service Provider deployments
  • Requires applied knowledge of any or all industry-standard networking protocols
  • Excellent C programming and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with product cycles and the deployment journey for carrier class products in Service Provider environments
