Job Summary

A telecommunication software company is seeking a Remote Principal Embedded Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and implementation in software design, development, validation, and documentation
  • Contribute to integration with enabling technologies
  • Investigate and repair reported issues

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related discipline
  • Requires advanced knowledge in Linux Internals, Linux IP Stack, and IP Fundamentals
  • Requires IP Routing Protocols (ISIS, BGP), Multicast, MPLS Protocols (LDP), and System Level Architecture
  • Experience with Product design and delivery of Routers and/or MPLS switches per Service Provider deployments
  • Must have excellent C programming and trouble shooting skills
  • Experience with product cycles and deployment requirements for carrier class products in Service Provider customer environments
