Job Summary

A company that provides enterprise-class subscription management for industry leaders has an open position for a Remote Principal Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Participating in requirements and solution design sessions, working closely with stakeholders
  • Being a subject matter expert on Ruby on Rails.
  • Defining technical impacts, recommending best-practice and/or alternate approaches

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Advanced experience as a hands on Software Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of Ruby/RoR platform
  • Experience with building out infrastructure and architecture
  • Experience in designing and building systems to operate at scale
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to provide technical mentoring to other developers
