A cloud communications company is filling a position for a Remote Principal Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Be ready to roll up your sleeves and produce well designed and tested production quality code
  • Implement highly available and elastically scalable 24/7 services in the cloud
  • Support existing systems while making contributions towards future architecture

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 5+ years of software development in several of the following:
  • Cloud solutions
  • Python and Node.js
  • S3, DynamoDB, EC2, Kinesis, API Gateway, Cloudwatch, and ElasticSearch or equivalents
  • Understanding of development best practices and standards
  • SQL
