Job Summary
A technology company specializing in internet connectivity is seeking a Remote Principal Hardware Systems Engineer .
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing automation of qualification test framework for incoming hardware systems
- Generating and reviewing validation plans, lead execution and create test reports
- Identifying problems and driving resolution with appropriate teams for issues found in Windows, VMWare ESXi, Linux and Linux kernels
Position Requirements Include:
- Significant experience operating Windows systems and VMWare ESXi
- Strong experience in scripting, specifically Python and bash
- Working knowledge of BIOS, BMCs, UEFI and PXE boot
- 5+ years professional experience in software and system engineering
- Experience in delivering software development products
- Demonstrated understanding of overall system performance and ability to collaborate with teams to optimize for use-cases
