Job Summary
A communications company has a current position open for a Remote Principal IT Systems and Network Specialist.
Must be able to:
- Research, identify and implement best security practices for all systems and service deployments
- Monitor common vulnerability exposure databases (CVE) and identify vulnerabilities to prevent exposure to threats
- Research and analyze vulnerabilities, identify relevant threats and recommend corrective actions
Position Requirements Include:
- Occasional travel within the North America/EMEA
- Extensive knowledge in Information Security best practices with current IT technologies
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, Vmware, Docker, Puppet, Kubernetes and Cloud environments
- Experience designing secure computing infrastructures supporting hosted and cloud-based operations
- Experience in system architecture or systems engineering for integration into IP-based network infrastructures
