Job Summary

A finance and insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Principal Machine Learning Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining production multi-tenant search systems
  • Working closely with data scientists, micro-service developers, and data engineers
  • Championing a cultural shift to MLOps best practices and adoption of the data science platform

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Deep understanding of modern vector/embedding-based representation techniques
  • Mastery of Tensorflow/Pytorch frameworks for implementing and optimizing deep learning algorithms
  • Deep understanding of the theoretical and practical tradeoffs of various NoSQL stores
  • Exposure to industry or academic research, particularly in deep learning and neural networks
  • Strong algorithms, data structures, and coding background
  • Experience with software engineering standard methodologies
