Job Summary
A cloud computing services company has an open position for a Remote Principal Mainframe Modernization Architect.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Design AWS architectures
- Help customers architect scalable, highly available application solutions
- Architect, develop, and modernize customer applications/systems
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Able to travel to client locations
- 10+ years of technical experience with mainframe, non-x86 legacy systems
- 10+ years of experience with technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 for z/OS, etc
- 10+ years of experience designing architectures for enterprise systems
- 10+ years of experience designing and deploying software and middleware solutions
- 5+ years of experience in a technical architect role
