A global e-commerce company is in need of a Remote Principal Mainframe Modernization Architect.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Helping customers architect scalable, highly available application solutions
  • Working as a technical advisor
  • Managing and delivering enterprise IT solutions/services

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Travel to client locations to sell and deliver professional services
  • 10+ years of hands-on technical experience with mainframe, non-x86 legacy systems
  • 10+ years of experience designing architectures for enterprise systems
  • 10+ years of experience designing and deploying software
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical architect role
  • Experience with COBOL modernization and porting application code across platforms
