A defense solutions company is seeking a Remote Principal Procurement Specialist in Tucson.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Sourcing/Selecting qualified suppliers using source selection techniques
- Seeking alternate suppliers
- Communicating requirements (prime contract, quality, terms and conditions) to suppliers
Qualifications for this position include:
- Minimum experience of 5 years in a procurement/buying role
- Self-starter able to handle their own buying desk
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers
