Job Summary
A financial company is in need of a Remote Principal Quality Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Engage cross-functional Product Teams to design test strategies, compose test plans, advise on testing needs and gaps, and influence actions driving quality assurance
- Develop key performance indicators and related reports to measure both process and product health and share with cross-functional teams
- Research and deploy new tools and frameworks to build a scalable and sustainable testing and data platform
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Demonstrated experience defining and implementing Quality Engineering strategies and testing plans for both regular delivery of software releases and complex initiatives
- Experience in developing formal written test plans, documenting defects in detail, and providing relevant data for test reporting
- Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies, debugging tools, testing tools, and collaboration tools including web-based test case management software (TestRail, Xray) and bug tracking software (Jira)
- Exceptional collaboration, listening, and communication skills
