Job Summary
A technology firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Principal Site Reliability Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Participating in the design and development of new features
- Managing, deploying, and operating cloud solutions at scale using the principles of site reliability engineering
- Identifying single points of failure and other high-risk architecture issues
Qualifications for this position include:
- 3+ years of experience delivering hosted cloud services
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise configuration management like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- 5+ years of experience managing Linux-based systems in a public cloud like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- 1+ year(s) of experience with containers on Linux
- 1+ year(s) of experience with Kubernetes
- Superior communications skills and experience working directly with and presenting to customers
