Job Summary

A software company is filling a position for a Remote Principal Site Reliability Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Implementing systemic improvements to reliability, scalability, and security of database infrastructure systems
  • Automating and maintaining database infrastructure maintenance to meet reliability and scalability demands
  • Driving stakeholder buy-in of key metrics

Required Skills:

  • Outstanding Oracle DBA skills
  • Deep Database Skills in RMAN, RAC,ASM, Data guard, corruption handling, backup and restore
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring and management tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager
  • Medium to Expert level of automation skills using one or more computer languages
  • Experience with logs analytics tools
  • Ability to think creatively and work independently
