Job Summary
A technology company has an open position for a Remote Principal Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Designing and implementing new features and contributing to upstream projects in Python
- Submitting patches for bug fixes to the community; review patches from other community members
- Partnering with the Quality Engineering (QE) team to ensure that projects are tested correctly
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of significant software development experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience or education
- Experience with Python development
- Experience developing in a Linux environment
- Knowledge of object-oriented software development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
