Job Summary

A financial technology company has an open position for a Remote Principal Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Hands-on developing of code, completing with automated tests that are scalable and maintainable
• Performing code reviews with helpful and meaningful feedback for your teammates
• Partnering with technical leaders across teams and work hand in hand with Software Architect to develop a cohesive vision for the future of company's tech stack

Required Skills:

• Solid understanding of how browsers work with expert level knowledge of maintaining complex distributed frontend applications
• 10+ years of professional software development experience which includes 5+ years experience creating and supporting highly interactive data driven applications
• Strong experience with Node.js and REST API design
• Experience with Express.js, GraphQL, Java, React, Redux is a significant plus
• Experience with concurrency, multi-threading and event-driven architectures
• 5+ years of team leadership experience
