Job Summary

A software developer is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Principal Software Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Work collaboratively with a team of full stack developers
  • Develop backend software using Java, Scala and Spring Boot
  • Implement new capabilities within the platform

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 10+ years of experience developing in a Java (or Scala) full stack environment
  • 5+ years of experience building scalable web applications Spring Boot
  • 5+ years of experience writing scalable multi-threaded Web applications and Services
  • 2+ years of experience working DevOps automations tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab)
  • 2+ years of experience with front-end development using JavaScript frameworks and deploying applications into AWS or other public cloud platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar experience
