Job Summary

A digital technology startup company is filling a position for a Remote Principal Software Engineer .

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Being a technical lead on small to large sized projects
  • Driving decisions on what technologies we use and the software practices we adopt
  • Coaching less experienced teammates to become better software engineers

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience developing software
  • A very experienced programmer in at least two languages and know-how and when to apply functional and object-oriented concepts (i.e. JavaScript, Go, Java, Python)
  • An experienced technical lead, that can direct and guide a team of engineers through building platforms/products and solving big, complex, open-ended problems
  • Passion for testing your code through unit testing and automation
