Job Summary
A solar energy technology company is in need of a Remote Principal Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing and developing software solutions using Ruby on Rails and React.js
- Developing and implementing standards and procedures to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure software
- Implementing Ruby on Rails stack deployment on Google Cloud and AWS Cloud using Kubernetes
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field OR equivalent
- Understanding of object-oriented concepts, abstraction/inheritance, and common design patterns
- 5+ years of experience in software development and knowledge of web programming languages and frameworks
- Proficient with RESTful API design, implementation, and integration with 3rd party systems
- Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker
- Expert with code versioning systems (Git) and deployment pipelines (Jenkins/Circle CI)
