Job Summary

A financial services company has an open position for a Remote Principal Software Engineer in Boston.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing features for our Guided Retirement Experience application
  • Taking stories from idea to implementation
  • Acting as a tech lead on various projects or other development initiatives

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 5+ years’ experience developing modern web applications using JavaScript-based tools
  • Significant experience using node.js to develop web application backends and / or experience
  • Experience acting as the tech-lead on a team developing a web application
  • Experience coaching and mentoring junior developers
  • Experience writing automated tests as part of development
