Job Summary
A content delivery network and cloud service provider has a current position open for a Remote Principal Storage Site Reliability Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Architecting new highly available storage systems
- Working on a cross-functional team
- Identifying bottlenecks within the OSI model
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in work experience
- Have professional experience in a Site Reliability, Development, or Systems Engineering role
- Possess mastery with benchmarking tools like FIO
- Have experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, or Salt Stack
- Have extensive professional experience and tuning the Linux kernel
- Have experience with designing, deploying, and running mission-critical Linux servers at scale
